Sitting in the Pocket

The feeling of being ‘in the pocket’ is common in our midst…and while you’re doing your part there is certainly the ‘all by itself’ thing (Mark 4:28  For the earth yields crops by itselfhappening also.

This year as we work toward securing the harvest (Mark 4:29  But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle) here’s a reminder of principals that will keep us on track >

“Resource flows from those who don’t manage it and toward those who do.”

Habakkuk 2:1-3
While standing guard on the watchtowerI waited for the LORD’s answer, before explaining the reason for my complaint. Then the LORD told me:“I will give you my message in the form of a vision. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glanceAt the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting it will happen!

Here’s Habakuk’s keys to ‘resource management’…
  • Recognize what’s going on…
  • Position yourself for receptivity
  • Receive whatever is downloaded and however it comes…
  • Write it clearly
  • Share it carefully
  • Navigate faithfully
  • Wait optimistically
  • Celebrate the happenings
